On Saturday, 11th August, 2007, IIT Roorkee Alumni Hyderabad Chapter organised a presentation by Mr. Pavan Nigam, a serial entrepreneur who co-founded Healtheon and later Cendura.

He was in Hyderabad on a personal visit and we were fortunate to have him give a lecture on Maximizing the odds of Startup success. The event had been publicized earlier on this forum and via internal mailing lists and it was well attended (with non IITR people and even out-station participants).

The lecture/presentation was insightful and peppered with personal anecdotes and was followed by a healthy share of discussions.

The presentation was prefaced by a short welcome by Mr. Sandeep Giri and an introduction of Mr. Nigam by Mr. Lav Nigam. The lecture was followed by a vote of thanks by Mr. Suresh Chandra. The entire event was followed by a tea session where more informal discussion followed

Thanks to all the people who made it to the presentation, to Sandeep and Ritesh for initiating this, to Suresh Chandra Sir for helping out with the venue (and snacks) and Lav Nigam Sir for helping us get this wonderful opportunity.
